Clearly, we are obsessed with the movie Desperately Seeking Susan and our “Gary’s Oasis” design is the third in a triptych of designs inspired by the movie. While the cool factor of the Magic Club or the Dragon Noodle restaurant is obvious, the dark horse of Desperately Seeking Susan was its adversary, Gary Glass…New Jersey’s premier installer of spas and hot tubs. We wanted to commemorate both Gary Glass and the actor who played Gary, Mark Blum, with this fun print, reminiscent of all things 1980s. Please note, the ombre effect in the mock up pictured here (of Gary’s Oasis) is similar, but not exact to the ombre effect in screen-printing, where each print has its own unique coloring.
